There are few industries in which so many different languages and cultures meet as in gastronomy. A blessing for everyone who is hungry and likes to try something new. However, this poses certain challenges for gastro software. For a delivery service it is not self-evident that every employee has a good grade in English. As our customer base grows, so does our desire to make our software optimally accessible to everyone. Be it our customers in Cairo or Berlin.
For some time now, SimplyDelivery has not only been active in German-speaking Europe. After the supply chain burgerme Deutschland has been working successfully with SimplyDelivery since 2013 and has increased its number of stores to almost 40, the launch in the Netherlands was also evaluated in spring.
The main task was to make the software available in Dutch as well. For this purpose, we set up a special Weblate voice server and connected it to SimplyDelivery. With the translation server, we enable permanent translation as SimplyDelivery develops, so that the delivery services can use the software in their native language. In addition to German, English, French and Arabic, Simply Delivery is now also available in Dutch.
Burgerme Netherlands successfully launched SimplyDelivery with its 10 stores this summer and together with our new distribution partners from DenHaag, we are looking forward to a growing customer base from the Netherlands.
